Insuro Policy Vault

Never miss an insurance renewal again.

Missed renewals are how coverage silently lapses. Insuro tracks every renewal date across every policy you own, and sends a plain-English reminder 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry, so you decide, not the calendar.

What happens when you miss an insurance renewal

For most Australian policies, missing a renewal doesn't just mean "you're not covered from tomorrow." Depending on the insurer it can trigger loyalty-discount resets, price step-ups on reinstatement, gaps that void no-claims history, and (for life and income protection) new underwriting that can exclude conditions you developed while covered.

The problem is almost never that you don't care about your cover. It's that the renewal email arrives 30 days out, gets buried, and by the time it matters you've forgotten what you were paying for.

How Insuro reminders work

Forward a policy email once and Insuro reads the renewal date straight out of the PDF. From then on you get:

  • 30 days out: "Your home insurance renews on 14 March. Premium last year was $1,240. Here's the current policy. Is anything worth changing?"
  • 14 days out: A shorter nudge with a one-tap link to the policy documents.
  • 7 days out: A final reminder, with a snooze button if you've already handled it.

Every reminder is scoped to your account and includes a one-click link to snooze future reminders for that policy. No login required.

Works for every renewable policy

Car insurance, home and contents, life and income protection, health, pet, travel, landlord, business: anything with a renewal date. Insuro doesn't care who the insurer is or how they format their emails. If it has an expiry, Insuro tracks it. The same dates live in the policy management vault, and there is a dedicated pet insurance tracker if animal cover is the one you keep losing. Frequently asked

Do I have to type in each renewal date?

No. Forward the policy email or upload the PDF once. Insuro reads the renewal date automatically and updates it every time the insurer renews the policy.

How far in advance do reminders arrive?

By default: 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days before expiry. You can adjust the reminder window in Settings, or snooze reminders for individual policies.

What if I've already handled the renewal?

Every reminder email has a one-click snooze link, no login required. Insuro will stop reminding you about that specific renewal cycle.

Can I get reminders by SMS?

Not yet. Reminders come via email today. SMS and push notifications are on the roadmap.
