Private vault: your data isn't sold or shared
Start with the right documents
Add the policy schedule, the PDS or policy wording that applies to your cover, and any endorsements. A general PDS describes a product; your schedule and endorsements help identify the cover you actually selected.
Open the assistant in your vault, choose a policy where appropriate, and ask one clear question. Include the type of cover or item you mean when your vault contains several policies.
Useful questions to ask
- “What excess is recorded for my car policy, and does the document list any additional excesses?”
- “Where does my home policy discuss flood exclusions or limits?”
- “What does my pet policy say about waiting periods?”
- “Which renewal dates are recorded for my policies?”
- “Which document supports this answer, and what should I confirm with my insurer?”
Check the answer before you act
AI can miss a condition, misread a document or answer from incomplete information. Review the referenced policy and ask your insurer to confirm anything that could affect a purchase, renewal or claim.
The assistant cannot guarantee that an event is covered, verify that a premium was paid, or bind an insurer to a claim decision. It provides document assistance, not personal financial advice.
Connect from a compatible AI client
Insuro also offers a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector at https://mcp.insuro.com.au. In a client that supports custom remote MCP connectors, add this URL and follow the Insuro authorisation screen.
Client support, account eligibility and connector menus can vary. Review the requested read and write permissions before connecting. The connector can retrieve policy summaries and renewal information, ask coverage questions, and, with write access, add policies or ingest documents.
For a first setup, create your vault on Insuro's website. Your private policy documents do not need to be publicly accessible for search engines or AI search to discover these public product pages.
Keep the next step practical
Use the answer to locate a clause, prepare a question for your insurer, or complete your renewal checklist. Keep updated schedules and endorsements in your vault so future questions use the relevant documents.
Frequently asked
Is the AI insurance assistant free?⌄
The AI policy assistant is included during Insuro's free public beta, subject to the beta terms and any applicable fair-use limits.
Does Insuro recommend which insurance to buy?⌄
No. Insuro is a policy organisation and document information tool. It is not an insurer, broker or provider of personal financial advice.
Can the assistant confirm that my claim will be paid?⌄
No. A claim depends on the applicable policy, the facts and the insurer's assessment. Check the policy wording and confirm your situation with your insurer.
Do I need to make my insurance documents public?⌄
No. Use your private vault and the authorised connector. Public search and AI discoverability relate to Insuro's public pages, not your private policy records.
